Activities and friendship for older people living in Shipley. You can participate in crafts, gentle exercise, quizzes and games or just relax and enjoy some good company.
Most members of the groups also stay to enjoy a freshly made lunch at our cafe.
Door to door transport is provided for residents of the Windhill side of Shipley in the morning groups and the central/Saltaire/Moorhead side of Shipley in the afternoon groups.

A hands-on painting class For over the 55s. Most people who join this class have never painted, but soon find themselves producing landscapes with acrylic paints on canvas.

Are you over 50? Would you like to join a friendly, social swimming group? Join us at the Kirkgate centre on alternate Tuesdays to enjoy a swim at the nearby Shipley Pool.
We then return to the Kirkgate Centre for a cuppa and a chat.

Vocal Aires

The choir is all about singing for pleasure, both for its members and the community groups and care homes it performs to.
It is open to all senior citizens, no audition required, but please contact the organiser before attending.
The cost is £1 per session and an annual U3A membership fee of £11.
